Heather and David

We recently played at David and Heather’s wedding celebration. It was a bit rainy, but we had a blast playing for such a happy occasion. They were kind enough to write us a very flattering review and agreed to let us post it here! Thanks you guys!

Here’s their letter (I took out their last name for privacy.)

“The Acoustic Phenomenon,

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful performance of our Memorial Day wedding celebration. Each and every one of you far exceeded our expectations…

To by honest we did not know exactly what to expect. You battled out the rain and the cold and executed each song perfectly. You even played our entire play list, which was greatly appreciated. We loved the style in which Ophelia was played. The tempo was slowed down, which was nice to dance to, and the singing was beautiful. Not only was the music great but the personalities and atmosphere was as equal. You made our wedding celebration a truly special day, we could not have done it with out you.

You are all very talented individuals and we wish you the best of luck.

Thank you for everything,
Heather and David”

Dini asked us to play at a pre-wedding pool party she threw for her friends. We had a really great time making music for these awesome folks! Here’s a few words from the email Dini sent after the gig, which she kindly said we could share online. Thank you Dini!

Thank all of you for making the trek down to Greenwich Friday night… Even though you were ‘working’, you looked like you were having so much fun that you might have had us fooled.

The music was GREAT! Clearly each one of you is a excellent musician in your own right and we were the lucky recipients of your talent. Many many recognized it and have commented on how ‘good’ you all were. (And that is saying something coming from a bunch of people from North Carolina!) It’s possible for yankees to know a thing or two about bluegrass as well!

Many thanks!”
